Everglades Airboat Rides Near West Palm Beach

You don’t have to drive to Miami to ride through the real Everglades. Swamp Monsters launches from Loxahatchee Road in Parkland, where the northern Everglades meets the western edge of Broward and Palm Beach counties. From West Palm Beach, Boca Raton or Fort Lauderdale, you’re well under an hour from the boat.

Every tour is private. It’s just your group and your captain, up to 7 riders per boat, for 90 minutes on the water. Your captain knows where alligators, wading birds and turtles tend to show up, and we’ll slow down so you can get a good look. They’re wild animals, so sightings are never guaranteed, but that’s part of what makes it the real thing.

Tours run every day. The first ride leaves at 9:00 am and the last at 3:00 pm. Pricing is per boat, starting at $325 for two riders. Riders need to be at least 3 years old.

All tours are 90 minutes in length. All riders need to arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. All tours will leave on time. No refunds for missed appointments.

What To Wear

Spring & summer wear shorts t-shirts, flip flops or sneakers. Wintertime in South Florida is normally mild, however it is 15 degrees cooler on the boat while it is moving, so it is a good idea to bring a windbreaker or jacket.

What to Bring

There is not much you need to bring for your tour. Apply sunscreen prior to tour. You may want a camera or phone to take pictures. No food or drinks allowed. No alcoholic beverages allowed on rides. We want to keep the everglades clean and safe for the wildlife.

Riders

Our single boats hold up to 7 riders at one time. All groups larger than 7 will need to call to schedule two or more tour boats (561-247-0393). All tours are private. No children under 3 years of age.
