Swamp Monster Airboat Tours FAQ’s
Below is a list of several questions we typically come across here at Swamp Monster Airboat Rides. If you have further questions beyond this list or require special accommodations, please contact us through our website, email or call us at 561-247-0393.
Do You Take Walk-In Tours?
Unfortunately, we do not take walk-in tours at this time as we get booked up each day with reservations. You can schedule and reserve your Palm Beach Airboat Tour right here.
How Many People Fit On One Airboat?
We’re able to take up to a group of seven per airboat tour. We want to give you and your group a truly private airboat tour experience, which is why we don’t take out large groups on one tour. Any groups larger than 7 can schedule two or more boats by calling us.
Is There An Age Restriction On A Swamp Monster Airboat Tour?
Our tours allow riders from 3 years old and up. All children 3-6 years of age are required to wear a life vest. Life vests are provided. No children under the age of 3 years of age allowed to ride.
How Many Alligators Are We Going To See?
It’s a common misconception that you’ll see hundreds of alligators while touring the Everglades. While we know all of the best areas to spot alligators, deer, birds, and more, these are all wild animals. We can’t guarantee that you’ll see alligators or other wildlife on your tour as a number of factors can scare animals off.
What Should I Wear?
Ear protection is provided for each rider. We strongly recommend wearing summer wear (flip flops, shorts, t-shirts, or tank tops) while out on an airboat tour. Winters are very mild in South Florida, however, you may want to bring a light jacket or windbreaker as the ride will be rather brisk.
Can I Bring Snacks?
We do not allow any food or drink on our private airboat tours. Our mission is to keep the Everglades healthy and safe for local wildlife. We strongly encourage eating prior to boarding.
Is There A Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of your tour in order to receive a refund. Please call us at (561) 247-0393 so a team member can assist.
What If The Weather is Bad?
If the Captain determines that weather conditions are unsafe for airboat rides, tours will be canceled and refunds will be issued within 24 hours of cancellation.
